You will generally be asked to provide identification, such as a bank statement or utility bill showing you lived at the address on record. You will also have to give proof of identity, such as a driver's license or social security card. If you are claiming on behalf of a deceased family member, then proper probate documention will be necessary. It usually takes several months to receive your unclaimed money.
